Gardens are special places—spaces where people slow down, connect with nature, and find joy in the everyday. Look a little closer at the flowers and you’ll discover they’re alive with activity. The Buzz in Your Garden introduces the many pollinating bees that quietly make gardens and ecosystems healthier and more productive. This program invites you to see your garden through new eyes and gain a deeper appreciation for the peaceful partnership between people and bees as they work and live side by side.
Join bumble bee expert and educator Judy Cardin for an engaging program filled with fascinating facts about our native pollinators. After retiring from the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture seven years ago, Judy launched a new chapter sharing her deep knowledge of bumble bees and gardening for wildlife. As a member of the Wisconsin Bumble Bee Brigade, she brings decades of hands-on experience, a passion for supporting wildlife, and practical insights from a lifetime of gardening for both beauty and bees.
The Buzz in Your Garden is a free virtual program on February 25, 7:00 pm Central Time
